Astro Orbiter Refurbishment

Astro Orbiter at Magic Kingdom will close for a brief refurbishment early next year.

According to the My Disney Experience app, Astro Orbiter will be closed from Tuesday, January 5 through Thursday, January 7, 2027. It will reopen on January 8.

The ride went through an extensive six-month refurbishment in 2025. It was completely dismantled and removed from Tomorrowland, then reconstructed.

The three-day refurbishment will probably cover more general maintenance. Stay tuned for our coverage.
