Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame has now crossed the $2.9 billion mark at the global box office. With the film expected to surpass its current total in the coming days, it will become the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Marvel re-released Avengers: Endgame in an Encore presentation on September 25th. This version included a special preview of the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, which comes out in theatres on December 18.

The Encore presentation crossed the $2.8 million mark on September 25 and has since added more than $100 million to its total.
This additional $100 million-plus, with the total still climbing, will push it past James Cameron’s original Avatar, which is currently the highest-grossing film with $2.92 billion worldwide.
