Construction continues to progress on the Up attraction coming to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, with the latest update showing new balloon theming.
Balloons Added to Up Attraction

The Up attraction, whose name was announced to be Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, has been under construction at Disneyland Paris this past year. We’ve previously reported on roof and facade work occurring on the exterior, as well as trees being cleared for a Russell statue to be added later. The attraction continues to be surrounded by blue construction walls, obscuring much of the progress from view.

Since our last update, DLP Works has shared photos of the latest construction progress, which shows some colorful new additions. Installed on the dome of the entrance tower for the attraction are several new balloons in all colors of the rainbow, mimicking the balloons Carl Fredricksen attaches to the top of his house to fly to Paradise Falls in Up.

As DLP Works notes, below the balloons is decorative molding that was recently installed as well. Zooming in on the archways of the molding reveals more balloon details.
Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, located in Disney Adventure World, is scheduled to open in 2027. The first-ever Up attraction is a “flying chair carousel” consisting of 48 chairs that hold 64 guests. Read more details about Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings.

Disney Adventure World is the renamed Walt Disney Studios Park, which opened World of Frozen this year. A Lion King-themed land is also currently under development, and it will sit near the Frozen land along the new lake.
