Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders and other guests with merchandise discounts such as DVC and Disney Visa Cardmembers can no longer apply that discount to bottled beverages at gift shops.
Bottled Water & Soda Discount Discontinued

Before now, Magic Key holders could use their merchandise discount on bottled sodas, waters, etc. purchased at a Disney-owned store. The discount was 20% for Inspire Key and 10% for all others.
As of Tuesday, October 6, this is no longer the case. We confirmed with multiple Cast Members that all guests, including Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Visa Cardholders, must pay full price for the bottled beverages.
The bottled soda and water discount has been available for a very long time, at around the same time as merchandise discounts.
Magic Key discounts on soft drinks at restaurants are still available, so guests are better off buying a fountain drink. Inspire Key receives 15% off food and non-alcoholic beverages at participating locations across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, and resort hotels. Believe, Enchant, Imagine, and Explore Keys receive 10% off. Most participating third-party locations offer 10% off across all Magic Key Tiers.
The change comes along with price increases on select one-day tickets. It was also announced today that Disneyland is removing the Magic Key no-show penalty.
