Color has been added to the scale-like shingles on the exterior of the building housing Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza and the restrooms in Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

In mid-September, we noticed that gray shingles had been added to the restroom building in Monstroplis that will be attached to Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza.

Now the shingles are all painted a mix of teal, gold, and bronze colors to go with the fake rivets between fake windows we saw that were painted brown-gold last month.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, which was formerly PizzeRizzo, is named after the six-legged Fear Tech mascot frequently “borrowed” by mischievous Monsters University students, and will open in 2027 as part of the first phase.

Monstropolis will open in phases beginning next year. Check out all our Monstropolis construction updates.
