Aerial photos by bioreconstruct on X show several trucks have arrived at the staging grounds for Monstropolis. Crews are preparing to transfer roller coaster track pieces from the yard to the construction site at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The large orange truck was delivering parts to the staging yard. The crane was then used to remove items from the truck. The gray elements are track pieces, while the black elements are platforms and supports.

A pair of open-bed trucks are on site ready to transfer track pieces. One was already loaded with a piece of track when bioreconstruct took photos.

Another truck, also loaded with a track piece, was further down the staging yard. The materials nearby are bricks and other cast stone for Monstropolis theming.

In this photo, a straight piece of track in the upper right corner has motors. This may be for moving doors through the loading area, rather than ride vehicles.
Monsters, Inc. Door Coaster Construction

Monstropolis, which replaces Muppets Courtyard, will open in phases. Most of the land will open next year, but Disney hasn’t announced an opening timeframe for the coaster, which will be Disney’s first vertical lift and first suspended coaster. Aerial photos from last month provide a clearer picture of how trains will travel through the door coaster currently under construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
