Darth Vader is now meeting guests at his original location and away from the extended queue area for Star Tours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

When we stopped by the area on Wednesday, October 28, the Dark Lord was meeting guests in his original spot by the stage between Star Tours – The Adventure Continues and Backlot Express by the AT-AT statue. He was last seen greeting guests in this area back in March of this year.

Darth Vader met guests in the same area before moving into the extended Star Tours queue line in September 2025, in the shade of the Endor set near Tatooine Traders. However, the sign that read “Encounter Darth Vader” that was at the line entrance is now gone.

Disney has not revealed if this move is temporary (as was the case in March) or marks a more permanent change for the character.

Regardless, guests can meet Darth Vader daily in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at various times between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
