James Cameron’s Avatar is heading to Niagara Falls as Disney and Lightstorm are collaborating on a new multi-sensory experience called AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa.

Disney Theatrical Group and Lightstorm Entertainment Inc. licensed the immersive walkthrough, which promises a “seamless blend of live performance art, captivating narrative and state-of-the-art immersive technology”.
Guests will begin their journey by freely exploring rainforest and coastal reef environments where state-of-the-art interactive installations allow them to engage with Pandoran flora and fauna. As they travel deeper into the world of Pandora through these multi-sensory environments, the experience culminates in a live acrobatic show celebrating the power of connection and the spirit of life itself.
AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa was developed by IMMEX, produced by EMM Williams Productions, and designed by Moment Factory. It is supported by private investment, as well as funding from the Government of Canada’s Creative Export Canada program.

The world premiere of the experience will be May 17, 2027 at Table Rock Centre in Niagara Falls, Canada. Niagara Falls will host a multi-show engagement through early September 2027 before AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa travels to other venues around the world.
