In just one week, all guests can begin booking stays at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. Before reservations open on October 8, Disney has shared a few more details from inside the resort, including a fresh perspective on the grand lobby and a first look at Branch & Brush, a new gathering space.
One of the lobby’s most defining features will be its expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the beauty of nature to greet guests from the moment they arrive. Drawing inspiration from the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas, a shimmering fiberoptic river will illuminate the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.
Many familiar friends from decades of Disney animated storytelling are etched into its design, while overhead, the blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended glass leaves will fill the space with movement, color, and wonder.

Just beyond the lobby, guests will find Branch & Brush, a new lounge offering handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake.
Inspired by the beauty of the changing seasons, the space will feature rich colors, natural textures and an enchanting collection of artwork. At the heart of the lounge, a color-changing chandelier will bring all four seasons to life, creating an inviting atmosphere where guests can unwind after a day of adventure.
Three restaurants were also recently announced, along with concept art of Pocahontas lobby and fireworks lounge.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a new Deluxe Resort Hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. Check out a first look at room types and theming.

First announced in 2018, the resort was originally going to be called Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, but plans were stalled during the COVID-19 pandemic. Years later, after the resort was thought to be canceled, Disney began filing permits again.
In 2024, they announced the resort again with a new name, Lakeshore Lodge. The resort will be “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.”
It’s located along Bay Lake, at the former site of the River Country water park, between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. It will have 967 rooms, including studios and suites, as well as one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses along the waterfront.
