Disney World Hotel Restaurants Suffer HUNDREDS of Price Increases

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, one of the things you’re probably doing is making a budget for your trip. Well, there’s nothing like price increases to throw a wrench in your budgeting plans, which is why we try to keep you updated on when things go up in price at the resort.

Every October, we see price increases for just about everything in Disney World, including increases on tickets, Annual Passes, and more. Food and drinks also go up in price, and well, that’s officially happened at Disney World hotels. So we’re going to tell you all about it so you’re prepared.

Today, Disney World confirmed thousands of price increases for restaurants across the resorts, including at the hotels. This includes some of the most popular table service restaurants, too, including ‘Ohana, Chef Mickey’s, and Cape May Cafe. Here’s a quick look at some of those price increases:

  • ‘Ohana: $33 to $36 for kids and $53 to $58 for adults
  • Chef Mickey’s: $38 to $41 for kids and $59 to $61 for adults
  • Cape May Cafe: $33 to $35 for kids and $49 to $52 for adults
  • Artist Point: $43 to $46 for kids and $69 to $72 for adults
  • 1900 Park Fare: $34 to $36 for kids and $54 to $56 for adults
  • Whispering Canyon Cafe: All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Skillets increase by $1 to $2

Counter service restaurants at hotels also had their share of price increases come through today, including Contemp Cafe, Capt. Cook’s, and Roaring Fork. Here’s a quick look at some of those price increases:

  • Contempo Cafe: Roast Beef Sub from $13.99 to $14.99
  • Capt. Cook’s: Most options like flatbreads, burgers, and chicken tenders went up by $0.50 to $1
  • Roaring Fork: Most entrees increased by $0.5 to $1
  • Everything POP: Chicken Tenders from $10.99 to $11.99

‘Ohana

Some prices for food and drinks increased across the board at Disney World, including the following items:

  • Popcorn from $5.99 to $6.29
  • Popcorn Bucket Refill from $2.49 to $2.79
  • DOLE Whip from $5.99 to $5.79
  • Chips from $3.29 to $3.49
  • Fountain drinks increase to $4.99

  • Kids’ Grilled Chicken Strips from $8.49 to $9.49

‘Ohana

  • Breakfast from $33 to $36 for kids
  • Breakfast from $53 to $58 for adults
  • Dinner from $44 to $46 for kids
  • Dinner from $67 to $69 for adults
