We shared the big news this morning that Disney and Macy’s are celebrating the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with an enormous new merchandise collection, and now we’ve got even more photos to share. And honestly, there’s enough here to warrant another look.
The new assortment digs into Disney’s long history with the iconic Thanksgiving morning tradition, particularly Mickey Mouse’s many appearances over the decades. There’s plenty of nostalgia mixed in with some surprisingly modern pieces, and quite a few things caught our eye.
Mickey Mouse Parade Fashion
A huge portion of the collection is devoted to apparel, and Disney fans who like a vintage look have plenty to choose from. One standout is a black puffer jacket featuring Mickey alongside “It’s the Macy’s 100th Parade” on the back, while another puffer is covered in classic Mickey Mouse comic-strip panels.
There are hoodies, sweatshirts, tees, and jackets throughout the collection, with designs ranging from subtle Mickey artwork to full-on parade graphics. One gray sweatshirt celebrates Mickey “Parading Through the Years,” featuring artwork inspired by different Mickey balloons that have appeared in the parade.
There’s even a Minnie Mouse T-shirt with a graphic on the back that alerts everyone it’s parade time. I love that so much of this merchandise looks genuinely retro rather than simply having a giant “100” slapped across it.
Accessories and Collectibles Join the Celebration
The smaller pieces might be some of my favorites. A new Mickey Mouse ear headband features two completely different ears, including classic Mickey artwork on one side and Sorcerer Mickey on the other.
There’s also a Crocs tote with a soft blue-and-white cloud design that can be customized with Disney character Jibbitz, plus a parade-inspired journal or planner and other accessories featuring Mickey and friends.
For something a little more commemorative, there’s a red-and-white striped ornament celebrating the 100th Macy’s Parade. Mickey appears front and center on the medallion-style design, making this one feel like a proper keepsake from such a big anniversary year.
That Snow Globe!
And then there’s the snow globe.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are marching through a colorful miniature New York City inside the globe, complete with Macy’s 100th Parade signage. The base looks like a quilted red bag accented with tiny gold Mickey icons, with a huge red bow sitting on top of the globe.
It’s wonderfully over-the-top, which feels entirely appropriate for a celebration of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Disney x Macy’s collection is available online now, with merchandise arriving at Macy’s stores nationwide beginning October 13.
