Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge has been added to the list of Walt Disney World Resort hotels eligible for Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, giving future guests access to additional time in the parks when the new resort opens.
Early Theme Park Entry
According to Disney’s official websites for Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, Lakeshore Lodge is now included among the participating resorts for both benefits.
Guests staying at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be eligible for Early Theme Park Entry, which allows registered guests staying at participating Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels to enter Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening each day of their stay.
The benefit applies on check-in and check-out days as well, although valid theme park admission is required. Guests can use the additional time to experience select attractions before the parks open to other visitors.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours
Lakeshore Lodge has also been added to the participating hotels for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. This benefit provides registered guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and select other hotels with additional time in select theme parks on designated evenings.
Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are not offered every night at every park. Guests should check Disney’s official Hours & Events Calendar for the applicable dates, parks, and operating times.
The addition places Lakeshore Lodge among the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts listed as eligible for the evening benefit.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Opening in 2027
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a new resort planned for the shores of Bay Lake in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area. The resort is scheduled to open on July 1, 2027, and will feature nature-inspired storytelling drawing from Disney films including Bambi, Pocahontas, Encanto, and Brother Bear. Planned amenities include resort studios, villas, lake houses, dining locations, pools, a lazy river, outdoor recreation, and water taxi transportation to Magic Kingdom.
With both park-time benefits now listed on Disney’s official websites, future guests can factor Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours into their vacation planning. As with other Disney Resort benefits, participation requirements, operating schedules, and available attractions are subject to change.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge
Reservations recently opened for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, opening next year. Walt Disney World has also released more concept art for studios, suites, and villas at the resort.
To commemorate bookings being opened, Disney hosted a street mural experience in New York City featuring 3D chalk art of the resort’s lazy river.
