Guests staying at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be eligible to participate in Walt Disney World’s perk of free access to Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon on their check-in day.
Lakeshore Lodge Added to Water Park Benefit
According to Disney’s official website for Free Water Park Benefits in Summer 2027, Lakeshore Lodge has been added to the long list of hotels that are eligible for this perk. The resort is set to officially open on July 1, 2027.
Disney has not announced the start and end dates of the annual summer event, but they were announced in January of this year and ran from May 26 to September 8, 2026.
Other Perks Added
Earlier this month, Disney confirmed that Lakeshore Lodge is also included among the resorts participating in Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefits.
Early Theme Park Entry allows registered guests staying at participating Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels to enter Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening each day of their stay.
The benefit applies on check-in and check-out days as well, although valid theme park admission is required. Guests can use the additional time to experience select attractions before the parks open to other visitors.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours provides registered guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and select other hotels with additional time in select theme parks on designated evenings.
Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are not offered every night at every park. Guests should check Disney’s official Hours & Events Calendar for the applicable dates, parks, and operating times.
About Lakeshore Lodge
The new resort is planned for the shores of Bay Lake in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area. The resort will feature nature-inspired storytelling drawing from Disney films including Bambi, Pocahontas, Encanto, and Brother Bear. Read more about the room rates.
Planned amenities include resort studios, villas, lake houses, dining locations, pools, a lazy river, outdoor recreation, and water taxi transportation to Magic Kingdom.
A scale model of Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is now on display in the Walt Disney Presents theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
