3rd Quarter 2026 Theme Park Injuries Report

Major Florida theme parks are required to self-report guest injuries to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which then publishes a quarterly report of the incidents. The third quarter of 2026 covered July through September.

Walt Disney World reported four incidents. On July 11, a 25-year-old female injured her right leg while riding Humunga Kowabunga, a trio of 214-foot enclosed body slides at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

A 42-year-old male experienced dizziness and eye pain after riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 1. The reimagined version of the attraction opened in May.

On September 23, a 44-year-old male experienced vomiting after riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The water ride is closing for refurbishment next month.

Lastly, a 45-year-old male had a seizure while exiting Pirates of the Caribbean on September 25.

Amidst a cascade of intense explosions, a thrill-seeker leaps from a massive vehicle. Nearby, the iconic Universal Studios-themed bus screeches to a halt as surprised onlookers witness this heart-pounding Fast & Furious - Supercharged moment unfold.

Over at Universal Orlando Resort, a 61-year-old man experienced abdominal pain at Fast & Furious: Supercharged on July 6. This was attributed to a pre-existing condition. The infamous ride closed permanently a month later, making this the last reported injury or illness for the attraction.

A 24-year-old female also experienced abdominal pain on Revenge of the Mummy on August 29.

Further details about the guests and their conditions are not released via the report.
