About a month after a confusing new entrance configuration was in place at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, a roundabout has reopened, giving guests a direct entrance to the resort again.
Previous Temporary Grand Floridian Entrance

The new Floridian Way opened in August with two roundabouts, and a convoluted new entrance to the Grand Floridian opened on September 10. That route sent guests on an LED sign-led loop that included passing by overflow and Cast Member parking lots, as seen in our POV video:
Prior to this traffic pattern, guests could enter the Grand Floridian Resort through the southern roundabout.

As of Monday, October 19, the road is now open at the southern roundabout, leading to the resort. On this road, guests pass the brick Grand Floridian entrance sign. The main entrance road now connects to the southern roundabout.
So guests don’t miss the turn, a blue sign that reads “Grand Floridian Turn Right” with an arrow is pointing to the freshly paved road. There are still orange and white construction cones around the area.

The permit to reconfigure the main entrance of the Grand Floridian Resort was filed back in September 2025 and revealed how the updated entrance would connect to two new World Drive roundabouts.
A third roundabout will be to the south near the Magic Kingdom parking lot. The Grand Floridian entrance will eventually connect directly to one of the permanent roundabouts, while the Wedding Pavilion is expected to receive a new entrance south of its current location.
