Yesterday, we reported that Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul, former executive vice president of communications for Disney Entertainment Television, was departing The Walt Disney Company after eight years of service.

Bulochnikov-Paul has since been hired as vice president of television series communications at Netflix. She will begin her new role on October 18, reporting to Netflix chief communications officer, Dani Dudeck.

As vice president, Bulochnikov-Paul will oversee communications for Netflix’s television portfolio, including scripted and unscripted series, documentary series, and consumer products and experiences (including Netflix House), as well as emerging content, like sports, games, creators, podcasts, and more.

Bulochnikov-Paul joined Disney in 2018 and has held several communications and publicity positions during her time with the company. In 2019, she was named senior vice president of communications for ABC Entertainment after previously working at Freeform.

In 2023, Bulochnikov-Paul was promoted to executive vice president of publicity and head of communications for Disney General Entertainment. In that role, she oversaw external and internal communications and served as the division’s primary spokesperson while continuing to lead publicity for ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Freeform, and Onyx Collective.

Her responsibilities later expanded when Disney announced in April 2026 that Bulochnikov-Paul would continue leading communications for Disney Entertainment Television, including advertising, while reporting to Disney Entertainment Television chairman Debra O’Connell and Chief Communications Officer Paul Roeder.

Bulochnikov-Paul, who began her career at MTV Networks, has also held communications roles at Netflix, Sony Pictures Television and Current TV.

Though her exit from the Walt Disney Company comes amidst a larger leadership reorganization, insiders stressed that Bulochnikov-Paul was departing on her own accord and that it was unrelated to the current restructuring.
