The actress who formerly played Reika Ayanokōji, the live-action pre-show guide for the T2-3D: Battle Across Time ride, has unveiled the new Universal Studios Japan-themed McDonald’s Happy Meal toys for the park’s 25th anniversary.
Universal Studios Japan McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys

In a video posted on McDonald’s Japan Instagram page, Ayanokōji showcased the five toys currently available at the fast-food restaurant. New toys drop each week, with the third installment not yet announced.

In part one of the lineup, these toys are based on current and former attractions seen at Universal Studios Japan: JAWS, Back to the Future: The Ride, Minion Mayhem, Playing with Curious George, and Hello Kitty’s Cupcake Dream.
When translated into English, the large statement in the upper center seemingly reads: “I wonder which one you will get?” In the bottom right corner, the text describes that the toys are limited and will only be available while supplies last, and that guests cannot choose the specific type of toy.
These attraction toys are available from Friday, October 16 through Thursday, October 22.

In part two of the toy lineup, the Happy Meal will include Halloween-themed Universal characters, including Kuromi, two Minion toys, Jurassic World, and Curious George.
The translation is the same as the photo above.
These toys are available from Friday, October 23 to Thursday, October 29. The third installment is coming on Friday, October 30.

All About T2-3D
Terminator 2 3-D opened at Universal Studios Japan on March 31, 2001 and closed on September 14, 2020, as part of budget cuts following low attendance after the COVID-19 pandemic reopening. At the time, this was announced as a temporary measure, but the park officially made the closure permanent in 2023.
The hybrid between live performance and theatrical show took guests on a journey into the future war between humans and robots with the T-800, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger as well as John Connor, played by Edward Furlong. James Cameron envisioned the film as a mini-sequel to “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” reuniting the original cast for the short 12-minute feature.
The pre-show was hosted in the “Miles Bennett Dyson Memorial Auditorium” by Kimberley Duncan at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood. The host was named Reika Ayanokōji for the Japanese version.
