The holidays are about to sound a little different aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Disney has announced that three holiday songs are being added to the attraction for a limited time beginning November 25, 2026.
And unlike the previous holiday version of Cosmic Rewind, which used one original holiday mashup, this year’s seasonal soundtrack includes three familiar songs that will be randomly shuffled. That means your mission to save the galaxy could have a completely different Christmas soundtrack from one ride to the next.
Three Holiday Songs Are Coming to Cosmic Rewind
Beginning November 25, guests could hear one of these three tracks during their ride:
- “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams
- “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
- “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses
Riding Cosmic Rewind while Trans-Siberian Orchestra is blasting “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” sounds completely unhinged.
The addition arrives just before the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which runs from November 27 through December 30, 2026. Between the festival, Candlelight Processional, Holiday Kitchens, and now a rotating Christmas soundtrack aboard Cosmic Rewind, EPCOT is getting another hefty dose of holiday spirit this year.
What Happens to the Regular Cosmic Rewind Songs?
Outside of the seasonal celebration, Cosmic Rewind randomly selects from its regular six-song soundtrack:
- “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire
- “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps
- “Conga” by Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine
- “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears
- “I Ran (So Far Away)” by A Flock of Seagulls
- “One Way or Another” by Blondie
Those songs have been part of what makes repeat rides on Cosmic Rewind so much fun. You never quite know which one you’re going to get, and anyone who has ridden more than a few times probably has a favorite. Now we’ll have three more songs to chase during the holidays.
There is one small mystery in Disney’s announcement. The Disney Parks Blog initially states that the holiday soundtrack will run November 25 through January 6, 2027, but later says the songs will be available through January 12. We’ll keep an eye out for clarification from Disney on exactly when the holiday playlist ends.
Either way, if you’re visiting EPCOT during the holidays, you might want to plan for more than one trip aboard Cosmic Rewind. After all, you’ve got three Christmas songs to collect now.
