A Walt Disney World guest was seen swimming in Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Incidentally, a second, separate incident featured in a viral video shows a guest apparently diving headfirst into the water of Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT. Former Imagineer Joe Rohde, who was the mastermind behind Disney’s Animal Kingdom, says Disney will replace the Expedition Everest Yeti rather than “fix” it.

All this and more in today’s daily recap for Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
