For those of us who are self-proclaimed night owls, there are few Disney World hotel perks more enticing than Extended Evening Hours. This perk offers two extra hours to certain guests at select theme parks on select evenings after the park closes to the general public.

However, given the perk is exclusive to Deluxe Tier Disney Resorts, access can be a bit pricey… unless, of course, you stay at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts, where you can save about half and still have access!

The Michael Graves-designed hotels are unique amongst Disney World hotels in that they’re located on the company’s property but are not owned by Disney. Instead, the hotels, which opened in 1990, were initially part of a joint venture between Disney, the developer Tishman, insurance company MetLife, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and are currently owned and operated by Marriott’s Sheraton Hotels and Resorts brand. With that established, let’s do some price comparisons. For example, in November 2026, EPCOT offers Extended Evening Hours on the 16th and Animal Kingdom offers them on the 18th. On those nights, a standard room at Disney’s Deluxe Tier Grand Floridian Resort & Spa costs $879 a night.

Meanwhile, a base room at the Dolphin for the same period costs $384 a night, more than 50% less for essentially the same suite of perks! Those types of price differences are common throughout the year!
