Imagine if you could shrink down to the size of a toy and surf with Barbie or race a Hot Wheels car. Sounds cool, right? But soon, you won’t have to imagine it: It’ll be a reality! (Well, kind of!)

Mattel is building five toy-themed water parks across the United States in Orlando, Florida; Bellevue, Nebraska; Bradley, Illinois; and Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Mattel just announced which location will open first, plus gave us a tour!

The first-ever Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark will open in Bellevue, Nebraska, in late 2027. It will be a year-round destination featuring a retractable roof to let the sunshine in on warm days, but be fully indoors during cold winters. So now, let’s look around!

Are you ready to race for gold? Check out the Hot Wheels area to find the massive Challenge Accepted multi-slide tower! Will you reach the finish line in time? You’ll have to find out next winter!

And it’s time to party like Barbie at the Barbie Boardwalk! This land is fittingly covered in hot pink, featuring a Barbie activity pool and FlowRider surf simulator. You’ll also find some Barbie snacks and ice cream, which we can’t wait to try!

For your littles, you’ll find a Fisher-Price area with a water play structure covered in colorful slides, interactive water features, and super cute animals!

And after all of that exploring, you can lounge in a lazy river inspired by Mattel Games favorites, including UNO, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, and Magic 8 Ball. Well, it’s relaxing until the boxers spray you with water!
