Hey Disney friends! If there is one thing we can all agree on, it’s that a Walt Disney World vacation is not exactly the most budget-friendly holiday. Between the resort, tickets, transportation, dining, and all those little extras that somehow find their way into the suitcase, the costs can add up rather quickly. That’s why I am always on the lookout for those little opportunities to save, because even when the saving seems small, it can make a difference to the overall vacation budget. And today, I have one that might actually give you a reason to skip the quick-service meal and sit down for a proper family dinner.
Throughout October, both Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian in Disney Springs are offering Kids Eat Free promotions, giving families a chance to enjoy a little more of the Disney Springs dining experience without adding quite as much to the bill. At Paddlefish, the October offer is available Monday through Friday, with one complimentary kids’ meal for each adult entrée purchased. That is a pretty tempting reason to make your way over to The Landing, especially if you have been looking for an excuse to enjoy dinner aboard this gorgeous waterfront restaurant.
Then we have Terralina Crafted Italian, also in The Landing, where families can take advantage of a Kids Eat Free offer during October. This is the sort of Disney deal I like because it turns a saving into an experience. Terralina has that warm, rustic Italian feel, with pizzas, pastas, and other family-friendly dishes, while Paddlefish offers its beautiful waterfront setting and a menu built around seafood, steaks, and plenty of choice. Suddenly, a family dinner at Disney Springs feels less like another expense to squeeze into the vacation and more like one of those evenings you actually want to make time for.
And really, isn’t that what we are looking for when we plan these trips? We spend so much time trying to make the Disney vacation work financially that sometimes we forget to leave room for the experiences that make it special. If you can save on the kids’ meals, why not put that little bit of breathing room toward a lovely dinner together? Every saving helps, and if that saving gives me an excuse to sit down with my family, enjoy a proper meal and take a break from the go-go-go of a Disney vacation, I am absolutely taking it. Just remember that these are limited-time October offers, so check the restaurant for the current terms and make your reservation ahead of time.
