One day after it was revealed that Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade would be filming for the ABC holiday special on November 10 and 11, one of those dates at Magic Kingdom is currently unavailable for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
Annual Passholder Capacity Reached at Magic Kingdom
According to the Annual Passholder Admission Calendar, Wednesday, November 11, is unavailable for Passholders to make a reservation to visit that park. However, Tuesday, November 10, is still available.
If Passholders are eager to see the parade on that day, they could make a reservation for another available park and then park hop to Magic Kingdom. However, reservations are subject to capacity limitations.
The parade, with showtimes typically at night during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party up until closer to the holidays, will be happening at 2 p.m. on November 10 and 11. The filming of the event took place last year on November 8 and 9.
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is no longer scheduled at that time, which indicates that filming for the ABC holiday special will occur on both dates.
Typically, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade starts in Frontierland, next to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. After passing through Frontierland, it travels through Liberty Square, goes around the hub in front of Cinderella Castle, and then goes down Main Street, U.S.A.
ABC has not revealed the exact date and time at which the specials will air this year; however, The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular aired on ABC on Monday, December 1 last year, and the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade aired on Thursday, December 25. We will keep you updated when more information is announced.
Disney World runs Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the daytime every year during the busy week of Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The parade features character appearances, festive floats, music, and an appearance from Santa Claus.
