We’re about to go get McDonald’s WAY more than we were originally planning this month, because now we’re on a mission — we MUST collect all of these new Boo Buckets!

That’s right, you read that correctly — McDonald’s is officially bringing back their Boo Buckets for another year this spooky season, but this time, they have a Disney twist to them. We’re as big of a fan of Disney Villains as the next person, and now it’s time to collect the NEW line of Disney Villain themed Boo Buckets that are coming out soon!
Snackolator on X (formerly Twitter) has helped release the news about these new Disney Villain Boo Buckets, and we now know there will be five that we can collect. Based on the photo shown, there will be buckets themed to Ursula, Maleficent, Scar, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. Could this all be because Disney is working on Villains Land in Magic Kingdom? It’s certainly possible!

Last year, the Boo Buckets were released on October 21st, but there wasn’t a Disney design — it was the classic Ghost, Pumpkin, and Goblin, plus a Cat and a Zombie. We do know that each bucket this year, like years past, will come with a pack of stickers, so you can decorate yours however you’d like.

In the past, the buckets have come with Happy Meals, so you can choose between a burger or chicken nuggets, a side, and a beverage. We think the buckets can be great for trick-or-treating purposes, Halloween decorations, or, in our case, you can repurpose them as a planter!
