Your next quick-service meal at Walt Disney World could come with a pretty cute souvenir!
Disney Eats has shared a first look at four new Mickey Mouse-shaped souvenir plates coming soon to select restaurants across all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Guests will be able to add a plate to an entrée for an additional charge while supplies last.
Each plastic plate comes in the classic Mickey silhouette, with a larger center section for your meal and two smaller wells in Mickey’s ears, perfect for sides or sauces. Each color represents a different park and features its park icon as an adorable smiling character. The plates also include the Walt Disney World logo along the bottom.
- The Magic Kingdom plate comes in bright blue with Cinderella Castle at the center, surrounded by little stars.
- EPCOT gets a green version starring Spaceship Earth.
- Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the purple plate features the Hollywood Tower Hotel against a pink and purple background.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom rounds out the set with a yellow plate featuring the Tree of Life against an orange and green background.
You’ll eventually find the plates at nine quick-service locations:
- Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café and Pinocchio Village Haus
- EPCOT: Connections Eatery and Sunshine Seasons
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express, Rosie’s All-American Café and Catalina Eddie’s
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue and Pizzafari
The artwork is in the style of Disney artist Jerrod Maruyama, whose “Kingdom of Cute” interpretations of Disney characters and park icons have appeared on artwork, homewares, Disney pins, Dooney & Bourke collections and, most recently, a Walt Disney World popcorn bucket.
Disney hasn’t announced an exact release date or price yet, only that the plates are “coming soon” and will remain available while supplies last. (I’m sure I’m not alone on this when saying I NEED THE ENTIRE SET!)
