Olaf has been caught on camera taking another unintended tumble at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris.
Olaf Animatronic Falls Over
An Instagram Reel shared by user wondoriane shows the walking Olaf animatronic standing beside a costumed performer in front of large wooden doors in World of Frozen.
With his back initially facing the camera, Olaf turns his head before suddenly tipping backward and falling onto the pavement. His carrot nose detaches (which is intentional) and lands several feet away, while the performer turns toward the fallen snowman and kneels to help.
A second performer approaches as the first begins lifting Olaf from the ground. The camera then turns toward guests reacting to the unexpected scene, including one covering her mouth.
The French text over the video reads, “pov: tu assistes à la chute d’olaf pour la première fois,” which translates to “POV: You witness Olaf falling for the first time.”
The post’s caption, “alors ça c’était pas dans mon bingo 2026,” translates to “Well, that wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card.”
Unfortunately for the clumsy snowman, this was not actually Olaf’s first tumble since debuting at Disney Adventure World.

Olaf’s Performance Anxiety
Infamously, a similar incident occurred on March 30, when the walking Olaf animatronic stopped moving during an appearance in front of a crowd around the time of Disney Adventure World’s grand opening.
After standing motionless for a brief moment, Olaf gradually leaned backward before falling to the ground. His carrot nose also popped off during that fall, prompting nearby Cast Members to assist.
The Olaf animatronic also appears in “A Celebration in Arendelle,” the boat show in World of Frozen. Disney has also used a puppet version of the character during technical difficulties. It’s safe to say that the animatronic’s roaming interactions generally go off without a hitch, though clearly some balancing issues persist.
More recently, Olaf’s voice actor, Josh Gad, met his robotic counterpart during a visit to Disneyland Paris.
