Crews have laid flooring for the expanded seating area at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree in Disneyland. Construction has been ongoing since May.

The flooring resembles flat stones of different shapes and sizes. Crew members are also creating a stone wall around the edge of the patio by adding rocks to a concrete curb. The new patio juts out considerably further than the old seating area, replacing flowerbeds that were in the area.

More rocks are staged on pallets. A trench full of gravel runs between the patio and the construction walls, sloping down around lampposts.

The land around a tree has been cleaned up for landscaping. Crews have dug some holes near a concrete wall at the edge of the patio.

Larger holes are closer to the construction walls, with panels labeled “Hole” letting crew members know not to walk there.

Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree remains open throughout the construction from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
