PHOTOS, VIDEO: Tour a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah Aboard the Disney Wish

We recently toured a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah aboard the Disney Wish. These staterooms have a split bathroom with two sinks and a private balcony. Each Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom has one queen bed and a single sofa bed, sleeping up to three adults.

Watch our video below:

These staterooms are located on Deck 10, and for this tour, we took a look inside Room 10142, which is a Category 5A Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. It’s Moana-themed.

When you first enter the stateroom, there is a set of closets to the left and the two doors to the split bathroom on the right.

This closet has three different sections with sliding doors. The sections on the left and right are long and have a rack for hanging clothes and clothing hangers. The middle section of the closet has multiple shelves and a built-in safe; this is also where the life vests are stored.

The split bathroom is divided into two areas. One area includes a sink, mirror, and toilet, while the other includes a sink, mirror, and shower-bath combo. Both sides of the bathroom have storage below the sink and shelf space.

Inside the shower-bath combo is an adjustable handheld showerhead, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

There is also a full-length mirror on the door inside this split portion of the bathroom.

The queen bed has white linens with a repeating pattern of the Disney Cruise Line logo of Mickey, and ocean waves. The pillows have embroidered borders with Mickey incorporated into the design.

On both sides of the bed are adjustable reading lights and wall sconces with Mickey-patterned lampshades. Below the sconces on one side are switches to control the lights, a European outlet, and USB ports. The other side has switches to control the lights, standard U.S. outlets, USB ports, and a USB-C port. Both sides have floating end tables with a drawer.

Across from the bed is a plain white wall with the TV, which we aren’t a huge fan of and wish had some sort of framing.

The bedding includes this custom Disney Wish bed runner, which can be purchased aboard the ship.

Above the bed is art of Te Fiti and sailing ships from the film, Moana. Like other art in the ship staterooms, this Moana art has a golden, glistening effect from some reflective spots in the art.

The carpeting throughout the stateroom is a dark, dusty blue with a tile pattern.

In the stateroom, there is also this sofa that flips over to turn into a single bed and a small oval end table. The bed has standard white linens and is fairly comfortable for a pull-out.

Above the couch is minimalist art of Moana playing with the ocean.

The desk across from the couch has several shelves and drawers for additional storage space. There is also an illuminated mirror, like in the bathrooms, and switches below to control the lights for the mirror, ceiling, curtain, and balcony. Beneath the desk is a round stool. On the right side of the mirror are additional outlets including standard U.S. outlets, a European outlet, USB ports, and a USB-C port.

This would be a great additional space to get ready.

Outside on the veranda are two chairs and a small round table. The veranda can be accessed through sliding the door in the room.

Overall, even though we aren’t fans of certain aspects of the Wish or the IP, we do think one of the better things about the Wish is the stateroom, and we thought they were comfortable and very modern.

Check out the tour we did of a Disney Wish Deluxe Family Stateroom with a Verandah back in 2022 and see how these two rooms compare.
