The new parrot mug that was previously announced is now available with the Mariner’s Fortune drink at The Beak & Barrel in Magic Kingdom.
Pirate Parrot Mug – $49
A Bold Punch made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Guava, DOLE Pineapple Juice, Ginger, and Lime served in a Souvenir Pirate Parrot Mug
The mug features a wooden parrot named Peg-Leg Pete (also known as Rummy and the Barker Bird) wearing a pirate hat and an eyepatch.
Peg-Leg Pete used to be located outside Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom. The animatronic was removed during the ride’s refurbishment in 2006.
The mug is included with the purchase of the Mariner’s Fortune, which consists of punch made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, guava, DOLE Pineapple Juice, ginger, and lime.
This drink is a great addition to The Beak and Barrel, especially for those who don’t particularly like rum and prefer vodka-based beverages. The ginger gives it a pleasant bitter kick, but the pineapple and guava add a level of sweetness to mix everything together.
The only negative we can find is that you have to purchase the drink and mug together, and it’s quite expensive at $49.
