When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.

We stopped by the Cake Bake Shop to try their pumpkin pie — and we’re glad we did! This slice is $15, which is pricey, but it’s not the most expensive treat we’ve had at this spot by any means. In the past, we’ve had pumpkin cake and pumpkin cheesecake from Cake Bake, so we were excited to see if the pumpkin pie was another hit.
Pumpkin pie
This is as close to a perfect pumpkin pie as we have had in a very long time. The custard is well set without being thick or gelatinous, and it doesn’t ooze, which is a nice touch. The spice level is just right, with no single spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, or clove) overpowering the others. Every bite is balanced and full of autumnal flavors.
The whipped cream is in perfect proportion to the custard and covers the entire pie, which we appreciate because we love a little whipped cream with every bite. It’s not overly sweet, has a pleasant texture, and pairs beautifully with the custard.

Our only complaint is the crust, which gets soggy on the bottom. We have yet to find a pumpkin pie that avoids this, and this one is no exception. Still, it’s a winner overall. If you’re a pumpkin pie fan, we highly recommend stopping by for a slice to get your Thanksgiving on.
