There is so much to consider when planning your next Disney World vacation: where to stay, which rides to prioritize, deciding if you need Lightning Lane, and arguably most importantly, what you are going to eat.
New snacks and treats drop ALL the time, so we make sure to review everything so you know exactly what to try (and what to skip) on your upcoming trip.
On our last visit to EPCOT, we took a trip to Mitsukoshi in the Japan Pavilion to try the Yuzu Flavored Cake for $3.49. This is a pound cake infused with a bright Yuzu flavor.
The pound cake itself is zesty, soft, and airy, and the yuzu flavor was nice and strong. This was a very refreshing treat and nice to eat on a hot, sunny day in Florida. This treat is pretty light and small, but given the price, this was not an issue. The citrus notes from the yuzu came through really well, and this would be great to try for anyone who loves yuzu or wants to try a more unique citrus flavor profile.
With that being said, anyone who is a little pickier or not a fan of citrus would probably want to try something else instead. Overall, we really enjoyed this and will definitely be picking it up again on future trips around World Showcase.
We will continue to bring you food reviews from all across Disney World, so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog so you never miss anything!
