Dr. Doom actor Robert Downey Jr. brought “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” into the Marvel universe in a custom illustration he shared for Halloween.
‘It’s the Great Pumpkin…Dr. Doom?’
The longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe actor posted the colorful illustration without comment for Halloween 2026. In the drawing, four trick-or-treaters — three costumed as the masked Latverian Witches in lime green, purple, and golden yellow robes, and the fourth as Dr. Doom — stand on a front porch. Above them, Ben Grimm/The Thing’s hand holds a bowl of candy. The Dr. Doom trick-or-treater (with reddish skin and bright green eyes visible behind their mask) holds up an orange rock (the same color as The Thing) and says, “I got a rock…”
Of course, this parodies the classic Peanuts animated special “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” As the kids trick-or-treat around town and share their candy hauls, the ever-unlucky Charlie Brown only receives rocks in his bag.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Novelties
If you’re looking for more Doomsday treats rather than tricks, theater chains including AMC and Cinemark have begun sharing their collectible popcorn buckets, cups, and other novelties that will coincide with the event film’s release in December.
