The Disney Believe reveal is just a few days away and Disney is encouraging us to speculate about the new spaces coming to Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship. A Nightmare Before Christmas-themed bar and an Encanto dinner show are included in our predictions for the new spaces we could see when the Disney Believe is revealed.
Nightmare Before Christmas Bar
Disney has already given us a few hints as to what spaces may be coming to the Disney Believe, including an Instagram video that prominently features The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Believe is expected to continue the tradition of elaborately themed bars, like the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge aboard the Disney Wish or the Haunted Mansion Parlor found on the Disney Destiny. Our theory is that The Nightmare Before Christmas will inspire the ship’s highly themed adult bar.
We should find out this Wednesday whether Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and the rest of Halloween Town have a place aboard when Disney reveals itineraries, entertainment, and more during the Believe livestream.
Encanto Dinner Show
The Disney Believe is also expected to feature an immersive dining experience, like Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on the Wish, Plaza de Coco on the Disney Treasure and Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King on the Disney Destiny.
With Encanto already appearing prominently in Disney’s previews for the ship, we think guests will enjoy dinner while Mirabel and her family, and the music of Encanto will bring the restaurant to life around them. This will provide another opportunity to serve food from a foreign land.
Snuggly Duckling Piano Bar
In Tangled, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider find themselves at The Snuggly Duckling, the rowdy tavern filled the kingdom’s roughest characters.
The Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny each feature a themed piano lounge: Nightingale’s, inspired by Cinderella; Scat Cat Lounge, inspired by The Aristocats; and De Vil’s, inspired by 101 Dalmatians.
Our guess is that the Disney Believe will bring the Snuggly Duckling to life as a Tangled-themed piano bar, complete with the tavern’s rough-around-the-edges atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for guests to sing along. It would be a natural fit for the ship’s next themed piano lounge.
There is also the possibility that Snuggly Duckling could be the sports bar and Snow White will be the piano bar instead.
The two other bars on the ship could be themed to Frozen, The Little Mermaid or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Monsters, Inc. Sweet Shop
The Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny each feature a uniquely themed sweets shop inspired by Disney and Pixar characters, leading us to speculate Pixar will be returning to the Disney Believe.
Our prediction is that the Disney Believe will bring Monsters, Inc. to life as its sweets shop. With Monstropolis set to begin opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2027, we think a Monsters, Inc.-themed sweets shop aboard the Disney Believe would be a natural fit for the ship.
