Sassagoula River Cruise at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will close again for a few weeks due to ongoing construction along the river.

Boat service previously paused in July. This time, it will be suspended from October 12 through November 1.

Bus transportation will be available during the closure.

Sassagoula River Cruise will continue service to and from Disney Springs via Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter.

The closure is due to “ongoing refurbishment work along the boat route,” most likely referring to the river wall replacement project.
