Scrim has now been removed from the exterior facade of the Club 33 balcony above Cafe Orleans in Disneyland.

Scrim Removed from Cafe Orleans

The beige scrim, which was first installed a month ago, covered three sides of the balcony above Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square. Part of Disneyland’s Club 33 location is situated in this area.

Club 33 is a private membership club founded by Walt Disney, offering various curated perks for its members and first opened inside Disneyland in 1967. Since then, additional Club 33 locations have opened at Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort.

We reported at the time that the scrim was put in place for balcony enhancements for a dining experience coinciding with Halloween. The balcony refurbishment appears to now be complete.

The beige scrim covering the balcony above Cafe Orleans has been entirely removed, revealing the black-and-green wrought iron railings.

The scrim around the sides of the building have also been removed now, showcasing all the wrought iron detailing once more.

We’re not sure at this time what changes have been made to the balcony.

Cafe Orleans is a casual table service restaurant where guests can “savor casual fare with a French Quarter flair at this historic New Orleans Square eatery.” If you’re planning to visit Cafe Orleans on your next Disneyland trip, check out some of our know-before-you-go information.
