Set Elements Coming Soon to Archie's Scare Pig Pizza at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney is preparing to install sets at Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, the PizzeRizzo replacement in Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza Permit

Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for ThemeWorks, Inc. to install set elements at 357 Cypress Drive, the pizzeria’s address. ThemeWorks was also recently contracted for set work on the reimagined Carousel of Progress.

In a possibly related move, Imagineering filed a construction permit for Archie’s last month.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will serve what Disney describes as “the top-rated pizza in Monstropolis.” The restaurant is named for Archie, the six-legged Fear Tech mascot frequently “borrowed” by mischievous Monsters University students.

Disney is replacing all of the old PizzeRizzo equipment and pizza recipe, so the restaurant will have fresh offerings. Check out a preview of Monstropolis food, including Archie’s and Harryhausen’s.
