Check your calendar if you’re planning a trip to Disneyland in early November, as Space Mountain is scheduled to close for one full day.

Space Mountain to Close for One Day

Confirmed on the Disneyland website, Space Mountain, the indoor rollercoaster in Tomorrowland, will undergo a one-day closure on November 10.

According to the current calendar for Disneyland Park, Space Mountain is only intended to be closed for one day and will be open to guests, reflecting regular operating hours, on November 9 and November 11. These dates, as always, are subject to change at Disney’s discretion.

We can only assume that this brief closure is intended for a minor refurbishment or regular maintenance, as no other details have been shared.

Elsewhere in Disneyland, “it’s a small world” will also be closed at the same time as Space Mountain, leaving two fan-favorite, high-volume attractions unavailable to park guests.

“it’s a small world” regularly closes at Disneyland for its annual holiday overlay. This year, the attraction will close on October 30 and reopen with the holiday overlay on November 13.
