Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has yet to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today (Wednesday, October 28).

Rise of the Resistance Closed

Both Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run failed to open with the park at 9 a.m. But Smugglers Run opened soon after. Almost two hours later, Rise of the Resistance remains closed.

Cast Members are lined up at the ride’s entrance, letting guests know it is closed for the time being. They do not have an estimated opening time.

It’s not unusual for Rise of the Resistance to have a slightly delayed opening but 90 minutes is pushing it. Hopefully, the ride is able to open today.

Earlier this month, Disney filed a permit for undisclosed construction work at the ride.

Disney also recently added Rise of the Resistance to Extended Evening Hours.
