Disney’s new Wreck-It Ralph attraction, called Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, opens in April 2027, and the pricing for Disney Premier Access (Tokyo Disney’s skip-the-standby-line service) will be ¥3,000. This makes it the highest price of any attraction at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue Premier Access Pricing
Tokyo Disney Resort released the financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year, and in that report, they set the price for Premier Access for the attraction. Disney Premier Access is a paid service that allows guests to reserve specific experience times and entry times for designated attractions.
At ¥3,000, guests will have to pay more than ever to use the paid service to ride Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue. Up to this point, the highest price ever charged for a single attraction with Disney Premier Access is ¥2,500 (approx. $15.50 USD).
The select rides that sit at this highest price tier are:
- Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast
- Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
- Soaring: Fantastic Flight
¥3,500 is the peak pricing for premium viewing areas for entertainment and shows. For example, The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy” Parade marked the very first time Tokyo Disney Resort reached the ¥ 3,500 threshold. And, “Toys Wondrous Christmas!” will also be priced at ¥3,500 for its run this holiday season.
Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue
The ride is set in the game Sugar Rush, where King Candy has transformed sweets like gummy candies, lollipops, bubble gum, and ice cream into Sugar Bugs programmed to consume the kingdom. Guests enter the game world with Ralph and Vanellope to help restore Sugar Bugs to their original “kawaii” forms before they can destroy Sugar Rush.
Using scanners installed in the ride vehicles, guests will work together to defend Sugar Rush from King Candy. Points will be awarded based on factors including the types and number of Sugar Bugs restored.
