The Tangled restrooms in Fantasyland now display a fresh mural, as the project is completed at Magic Kingdom.

Tangled Restroom Mural Refresh

When we walked past the restrooms on Wednesday, October 21, the vibrant mural was on full display.

The exterior mural starts at the top of the restroom entryway and runs down the right-hand side and onto the ground. The updated paint features a variety of vibrant colors, including gold, pink, lavender, and purple in floral and sun designs.

Just a few days ago, we reported that the refresh was underway as large rolling planters covered the area, as shown above. The bushes did not obstruct the entrance to the restrooms, but they do create a barrier around the mural that cascades down the exterior wall.

The rolling planters have since been removed.

In these photos above from August and September 2026, we noticed that the paint from the mural was fading or being prepped for a refresh. A lot of the darker colors were missing from the mural above the entry arch, and the portion of the mural on the concrete was scuffed and faded. Now, the colors are more vibrant than before.

June 2025 was the last time the Tangled restroom mural received a refresh. The original mural artwork remained the same, but the colors were refreshed to revive its vividness.
