It may only be October, but that means that the holiday season is less than a month away, bringing us into one of the busiest times of the year for Disney World!

We’re already looking forward to experiencing both Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, but if you want some extra holiday cheer outside of a party, Disney just announced that THREE rides are getting holiday tunes starting in November!

Disney confirmed a few days ago that the classic holiday overlay would be coming to Alien Swirling Saucers in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The intergalactic soundtrack will be layered with holiday-themed music, and at night, Christmas-colored lights will light up the attraction, but Disney has just confirmed what NEW songs will be part of the overlay from November 4th, 2026 through January 6th, 2027! We’ll be able to hear Toyland, Deck the Halls, Swirling, Swirling Saucers, and Joy To The Swirl.

That’s not all, though — Disney also announced two more holiday overlays coming soon! From November 25th, 2026 through January 6th, 2027, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT will replace its regular soundtrack to be full of holiday tunes! You’ll be able to hear:

• “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams
• “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra 8
• “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses

These songs will fully replace the six songs you normally hear on the attraction for the season, which means that it’ll be much easier to hear all three! Riding to get three different songs is easier than riding to get six different ones, considering it’s been years and some of our team is still trying to ride the attraction to all six!

If you want holiday cheer even earlier, from November 4th, 2026 through January 6th, 2027, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will turn into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay, where the entire experience gets an overlay! Before you even step into the line, festive music will play throughout the whole courtyard, and once you step into the pre-show room, the entire show has changed! Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips are deep in rehearsals for their holiday spectacular, and a few familiar Muppets friends will stop by the studio to offer a helping hand (or try to).

When you get to the actual ride, you’ll be able to hear one of four holiday songs. Now, Disney says there are four, but then only lists three, so we’re wondering if one is being kept a secret? Regardless, these are the three songs we know you’ll be able to hear!

• Holiday Road – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
• Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson
• Silver Bells – The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper

We can’t wait to experience all these overlays and bring you along with us, so stay tuned to DFB!
