Volcano Bay Closure

Universal Volcano Bay, the Universal Orlando Resort water park, is now closed for seasonal maintenance.

The water park closure began today, October 26, 2026.

Universal says it has a planned reopening date on or before April 1, 2027.

They previously said it would reopen on or before March 24, 2027. Dates are always subject to change.

Though Volcano Bay doesn’t close for multiple months every winter, it’s not unusual for water parks to close seasonally for refurbishment. Volcano Bay had to close multiple times last winter due to inclement weather.
