A recent video shows a Waymo self-driving vehicle appearing to run a red light at an intersection in Orlando.
Waymo Runs a Red Light
A social media user named @melisaunfiltered posted the video to Threads on Sunday, October 4, claiming the incident happened at the intersection of Kirkman Road and Carrier Drive.
In the clip, the van was seen inching up into the intersection while the light was red. The Waymo was halfway through the intersection as the light turned green. No cars were hit.
“@Waymo One of your cars ran a red light today at a major intersection near Universal Orlando. This is a serious safety concern,” the Threads user captioned their post.

Waymo in Orlando
Earlier this year, Waymo vehicles arrived in Orlando. The self-driving service is also available in other cities, including Dallas and Houston.
