If you’re planning to shop the first-ever RSVLTS pop-up at Disney Springs this weekend, be prepared: Disney is using a virtual queue to manage guest flow in batches.

Virtual Queue for RSVLTS Disney Springs Pop-Up

As the two-day RSVLTS pop-up is located inside the Marketplace Co-op, Disney Springs is using a virtual queue to stagger guest access and prevent swarming the shop-within-a-shop.

Cast Members with iPads are registering each guest in line to add them to the pop-up’s virtual queue. This queue acts more like a dining reservation: once you register your phone number with a Cast Member, you’ll receive a text when it’s time to come back and shop.

Our reporter was among the first 40 people in line and was given a card normally used for Pin Tuesdays. There are no scannable QR codes or app options to self-register for the virtual queue that our reporter could see; you have to wait in line and talk to a Cast Member to be added.
