Walt Disney World has filed a new construction permit for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Permit

The permit is for the company’s in-house Buena Vista Construction Company to “Provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction” at the ride’s address, 850 Sunset Blvd. It was filed by the Sourcing & Procurement team.

This gives us little indication of what work could be planned for the attraction or building. But because the permit was not filed by Walt Disney Imagineering, we can guess it isn’t related to theming.

The reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster opened this past May after a relatively short closure. It has a brand-new pre-show, updated queue, and The Electric Mayhem songs. Watch our ride POV below.
