The Walt Disney World Railroad has reopened a day ahead of schedule following a multi-week refurbishment at Magic Kingdom.
Walt Disney World Railroad Reopens

In late September, the Walt Disney World Railroad closed for a multi-week refurbishment. Officially, Disney stated it would reopen sometime in November, but the calendar showed operating hours beginning October30.

Work was not done on the actual engines, just the track. We saw crews replacing the tracks at the Main Street station earlier this month, and it’s officially reopened today, October 29.
Currently, the Walt Disney World website says the Main Street, U.S.A. station is still closed, along with the Fantasyland station. Even after reopening, it will continue operating in shuttle mode due to construction of Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains Land.
