Want To Experience ‘The Polar Express’ In Real Life? Grab Your Tickets For An EXCLUSIVE Event NOW

We’re less than a week away from Halloween, and that means that the holidays will be here before we know it — ESPECIALLY if you’re headed to Orlando for the season, because multiple parts of the city begin celebrating pretty early.

We’re here to bring you along with us as we explore all the exciting holiday events coming to Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, and beyond, because we know it’s like to be visiting a city and leave only to find out you missed something big that you would have loved. If you were a big fan of the popular film The Polar Express growing up, or you still find yourself adoring it now, you absolutely cannot miss out on this unique experience just a short drive away from Disney World!

Gaylord Palms is a hotel located in Kissimmee, Florida, which is located just minutes away from Walt Disney World Resort. This winter, they’re bringing back their incredible ice! featuring The Polar Express exhibit, which has been leaving guests in awe for years now. It opens soon on November 13th, but you can grab your tickets for it right now.

You’ll get the chance to walk through 11 iconic scenes from The Polar Express, but they’ve all been carved out of 6,000 blocks of ice! You can see the train itself, step inside one of the dining cars to experience your own version of the beloved hot chocolate scene, and even slide down five slides, entirely made out of ice. Dramatic lighting and fog effects really bring the entire experience to life, and you’ll want to be sure you get photos everywhere you can.

The journey ends at The North Pole, where you’ll find Santa’s elves monitoring children around the world to see if they’ll end up on the naughty or nice list. You’ll also get the chance to see an 11-foot Santa Claus tower over you as he presents the first gift of Christmas: a silver bell from his sleigh. The experience has no time limit, so you can experience it on your own time. If you’re concerned you don’t have a heavy enough coat, no worries — you’ll be given a heavy coat to keep yourself warm, as the building is kept at 9 degrees Fahrenheit to keep the ice from melting.

You can experience this event from Friday, November 13th, 2026, to Sunday, January 3rd, 2027. Tickets start at around $33 in November and peak at $44 during the month of December, but we recommend you look at the bundles available to help you save if you’re interested in experiencing other holiday experiences around the resort — yes, this isn’t the only one! This is the 24th year of this incredible experience, but we’ve got a feeling it’ll be incredibly popular, so snag your tickets while you can.
