Think you factored in ALL of the costs when planning your Disney World vacation? Think again, because this keeps catching people (including me) off guard!
Some hotels actually CHARGE for parking, whether you’re only staying for the day or spending the night! YUP! That means you may need to plan for spending an extra $10 to $68 per day, or even per exit! But don’t worry — not every Disney World hotel charges for parking. We’re laying out the full list of hotels that charge for parking, so you’re not surprised by any additional costs on your vacation!
Disney World Resorts:
While day and overnight parking is complimentary to resort guests or guests with valid dining reservations, there is the option to valet at Disney Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, as well as at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. When you arrive, you may check with the Security Host for parking options. The valet service is available for $42 per night plus tax if there is availability.

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels & Swan Reserve:
Whether you’re just spending the day or are a guest staying the night, you will have to pay to park at these three resorts. The rate depends on whether or not you’re a guest, and these hotels offer both self-parking and valet parking. The rates are as follows:
- Rates for registered Guests of Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve:
- Self-Parking: $40 per vehicle, per day (plus tax)
- Valet Parking: $51 to $61 per vehicle, per day (plus tax)
- Rates for other Guests:
- Self-Parking: $40 per exit
- Valet Parking: $51 to $61 per exit

Four Seasons Resort Orlando:
There are several options for parking when it comes to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando:
- Overnight valet parking for $68 plus tax
- Valet parking for guests dining at Mara Restaurant & Bar, Riva Terrace, and Socca Café is $10 per vehicle
- Valet parking for guests of The Spa is $15 per vehicle
Self-parking is NOT available, so if you’re looking to park at this resort, it will cost anywhere between $10 and $68 plus tax. It’s also important to note that vehicles retrieved more than 15 minutes after the valet outlets close will incur the overnight fee of $68 plus tax.

Disney Springs Area Hotels:
There are several hotels on Disney property that aren’t owned by Disney but still offer great perks and proximity to the resort! These resorts DO charge for parking, so let’s go through the amount each of them charges:
Hilton Buena Vista Palace:
This hotel offers both 24-hour Self-Parking and Valet Parking for the following costs:
-
- Self-Parking: $38 (plus tax overnight)
- Valet Parking: $48 (plus tax overnight)
All parking charges are taxable at 6.5%. In and out privileges are available for overnight guests.
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Area:
Both on-site and valet parking at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando in the Disney Springs area is $45 per vehicle, per day.
Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs:
Here, standard parking is $27 per night and preferred parking is $31 per night. There is also oversize vehicle parking available for $50 per night.
Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista:
This resort offers gated self-parking for $30 plus tax per vehicle, per night. Visitor and day guest parking is also available for $30 plus tax per day. RV, bus, and oversized vehicle parking is also available; however, fees may vary depending on availability and day, so guests should call the resort to confirm before parking there.
Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa:
Currently at the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, self-parking is available for $30 per night plus tax, and valet parking is $45 per night plus tax.
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando:
Finally, self-parking is available at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando for a daily rate of $25 plus tax.
As I mentioned above, Disney World-owned resorts offer complimentary parking to their guests; however, that wasn’t always the case. In 2018, Disney began charging for overnight parking. Rates varied by resort tier and were as follows:
- Value Resorts: $13 per vehicle, per night
- Moderate Resorts: $19 per vehicle, per night
- Deluxe Resorts: $24 per vehicle, per night.
Valet parking was available at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts for $33 per vehicle, per night. Disney Vacation Club members using points or paying cash at the Deluxe Villa Resorts did not have to pay for overnight self-parking. In 2023, they changed back to offering complimentary parking for their guests.
When you’re planning a trip to Disney World and trying to figure out where to stay, be sure to remember that some hotels charge for parking! And if you’re just planning to visit one of these hotels, keep in mind that some may charge for day parking, as well!
