The official trailer for Marvel Television’s VisionQuest, the highly anticipated follow-up to WandaVision, has been released. It streams on Disney+ on October 14.
New ‘VisionQuest’ Trailer
The new trailer showcased new scenes for the series, including action sequences and emotional statements.
Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision, while James Spader returns as Ultron. Disney first released the first full preview of the series in August, along with displaying White Vision’s suit at D23.
VisionQuest continues the story of White Vision following the events of WandaVision. Although White Vision regained the original Vision’s memories during the series finale, he does not have an emotional connection to them. The new series follows him as he attempts to understand his identity, history, and humanity.
What Happened in ‘WandaVision?’
The show explored how Wanda Maximoff channeled her grief over Vision’s demise in Avengers: Infinity War into the “Westview Anomaly,” a magical illusion so powerful that she was able to “resurrect” Vision and create her children, Tommy and Billy Maximoff. The anomaly drew the attention of Agatha Harkness.
Wanda ultimately defeats Harkness to officially become the Scarlet Witch, with her story continuing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Vision is “resurrected” as White Vision, an emotionless rebuild of his original self, who ends up gaining sentience. Meanwhile, Agatha teams up with an unexpected ally in her own spinoff series, Agatha All Along.
