Calfuccino’s arrival is part of Disney’s collaboration with MRP Manatee and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to assist in the recovery and protection of manatees.

Over the years, injured manatees have taken up residence at SeaBase Aquarium for rest, recovery, and rehabilitation. The Manatee Rehabilitation Center is located on both Level 1 and Level 2.

The video posted on social media shows Calfuccino’s first moments in the water at EPCOT. This 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium is home marine life and unique experiences for guests to participate in, including fish feedings and an interactive exhibit called Bruce’s Shark World.

We are unsure how long Calfuccino will be calling EPCOT home. Soleil, another manatee that resided in the aquarium, was released in May after a successful rehabilitation. She had arrived in February 2026.
